• This repo will help in learning SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) . The details are based on "CAP with Node.js" and UI has been created with Fiori elements template.

• Prerequisites :

  • You have BAS ( Business application studio ) editor. If not , you can create an account on https://account.hanatrial.ondemand.com/trial/#/home/trial and get access of BAS.
  • You opened BAS editor with devspace as "Full stack cloud application"

• How to clone the repo to BAS :

  • As soon as you open the BAS ,you will see below screen on which you can click on "Clone from Git".

    

  • This is the repository path : https://github.com/MdSaddamKazmi/CAP.git

  • Press CTRL+SHIFT+P to open command pallet and type "open folder" and choose below path /home/user/projects/CAP.

  • If you don't see "Get started" page on opening BAS then follow below shown path :

** Make sure to read the README.md file of each branch and check those files in directory (after cloning) which have been mentioned in this file. Most of the steps have already been taken. You just need to check those statements which will help to run the UI once you clone the repo.

P.S : The repo has been created in April 2024 . Command and code can get updated in future.
