Wonder if you can add more sensors to this integration? I was trying to add it into the Energy section of HA but the first configuration was looking for a sensor for "Grid consumption"

After unpacking per instructions and restarting, in Add Integration this did not appear. On a hunch I created the directory config/custom_components/sma_speedwire and moved everything into it. Restarted and now the integration does appear.
HA 2023.4.6.

While adding the IP address, the dialog requires a password. I don't think this is required, is it?

FYI, it works with my SB7000 inverter but not with my SB5.0. Haven't figured out why.

Added the integration to HA yesterday, seems to work well so far.

Now I would like to add more sensors, for example to see dc power per string.
Additionally I do have a battery inverter which I would like to connect as well. The integration seems to connect initially, but reports 'Failed to set up' as soon as the inverter is added(didn't try logger yet). I also tried the 'test.py' which connects to both inverters just fine and reports correct data.

Unfortunately I have no experience writing Python or HA integrations. Any hints on which parts of the code need to be edited would be appreciated.

Edit: restarted Homeassistant, now the battery inverter seems to be fine, no more error...

Installed Ha new, and now its not possible to connect to SMA
With Sunny Explorer Software and a sending ping is all OK

If I enter a wrong IP in the address field it searches for a while until an error occurs.
But if I enter the correct IP, the error immediately pops up: connection failed

It looks like it doesn't even look for the correct IP address but immediately gives errors

Hi,

when sun goes down, the Sunny Boy switches off.
At sunrise, the Sunny Boy restarts and comes online.

However, your integration does, very often, not reconnect until I hit the reload button.
Is this a bug or do I need to set some additional configuration?

Hi there,
i am relativ new to HA. I use your integration and its works pretty good.
Could you discribe me where i can change the refreshing to something like 15-30sec?
I tried to change the_init_.py line 42 to 30 seconds but it didnt change anything.
