django-unity3d-example's Issues

Savegame files won't be deleted when 'replaced'

Whenever you update a savegame, a new file is generated due to the nature of the upload_to method. This will cause the uploads folder to get bloated with old, "overwritten" savegames.

Make sure the old file gets deleted whenever a savegame get's updated.

Split up functionality over multiple apps

It would be nice to separate the different features over multiple apps so backend developers can simply add/remove apps to their project.

For example, if one project requires savegames but the other does not, the developer can simply add 'unity.savegames' to the INSTALLED_APPS config variable and it will be enabled.

Open in Unity 5 Personal?

Great project...it will be a big help!

I'm able to open the project and successfully run it using Unity 4.5.2f1.

In Unity 5 Personal I get a message of "No MonoBehaviour scripts in the file, or their names do not match the file name."

Make BaseGame and savegamedata generic

Pseudo code:

JeuDeBoulesGameData

System.Type type = System.Type.GetType("JeuDedBoulesGameData");
JeuDeBoulesGameData data = JConvert.DeserializeObject(jsonString, type);

public class JeuDeBoulesGame : BaseGame<JeuDeBoulesGameData> {

}

{
    "name" : "Awesome savegame 1",
    "type" : "JeuDeBoulesGameData",
    "file" : "/foo/bar/"
}
