Separate frontend components and core library

The description on the repo claims it's intended for use as a browser library.
However, there are preact components bundled in with the rest of the code which would otherwise not use it, and in the package.json webpack, preact, and preact-custom-element are installed as dependencies regardless of whether the project using the library wants to use them in their code.
