Corelab App Challenge

Welcome to the Corelab App Challenge this challenge, you will be creating a Flutter application based on a Figma mockup of a marketing place for dentists. Your task is to implement the product search page of the app.

Challenge Details

  • Application Type: Flutter
  • Task: Implement the product search page for the Corelab App Challenge Figma mock.
  • Time Limit: Please aim to complete the challenge within 5-7 days.
  • Submission: Once you have completed the challenge, please submit your code as a GitHub repository and send us the link.

Requirements

  1. Fork this repository or create a new Flutter project.
  2. Create a new page/screen in the app to display the product search functionality.
  3. Use the provided Figma mock as a reference to design the UI for the product search page.
  4. Implement the product search functionality, allowing users to search for products relevant to dentists.
  5. Display the search results in a visually appealing manner, considering factors such as layout, typography, and images.
  6. Ensure that the app is responsive and provides a seamless user experience across different screen sizes.
  7. Use appropriate widgets and navigation techniques to create an intuitive user interface.
  8. All data information can be mocked. The goal of this challenge is to assess your abilities in developing the app in Flutter itself.
  9. Feel free to enhance the user experience by adding animations or any additional features you think would be beneficial.

Features

  1. The page has to display a search bar at the top of the page.
  2. The search bar should allow users to search for products that matches either product title, description, price or category
  3. if the product search returns no results, the page should display a message to the user indicating that no results were found.
  4. At the bottom of the page, there should be a button that allows users to navigate to the product details page.
  5. By clicking on the categories icon, the user should be able to navigate to categories page.

Evaluation Criteria

Your submission will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Code Quality: The structure, organization, and readability of your code.
  2. UI Design: The accuracy of implementing the UI based on the provided Figma mock.
  3. Functionality: The successful implementation of the product search functionality.
