On a 3.1.5 Moodle site using rocket theme 2.7 (Build: 20140823) (2014091804)

When a user is forced to change their password by going to /login/change_password.php this triggers a POST followed by upwards of 20 GET requests within the same second, giving a browser error of "The page isn't redirecting properly" in Firefox or " redirected you too many times." in Chrome.

On the same Moodle site with clean theme, this functionality works fine.

Last version Rocket Theme 2.7 (Build: 20140823) (2014091804) on Moodle 3.1.10
When entering the main page through the URL on browser, only shows the login page persistantly including when 'homepage' is "site" selected and 'forcelogin' is unchecked.
If this is not an issue, please tell me how to solve this.

The page viewed is always /login/index.php when should showed a maintenance alert or 'site unavilable' message on site's URL.
Moodle version: 3.1.11
Rocket Theme version: theme_rocket_moodle31_2014091805

Perhaps this came from an issue on version 201409804 where /login/index.php appeard always too without pssibility to change default homepage as 'site'.
