I just publish a post today and noted the first tag is NOT following what is in the SteemPress plugin
At the plugin settings, it is set as "steempress"
At steemit, it appeared as "steemitsteempress"

A cool feature would be to allow the exclusion of certain text content created by the author from WP using html comment tag.

For example:

Pagraph 1: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.

Pagraph 2: Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.

The content on WP would not be affected and show both paragraph 1 & 2. But on Steemit it should only show paragraph 1 since paragraph two is enclosed in a hide tag that the plugin should detect.

There seems to be an issue saving excluded categories when they are to many, have tested on a site with ~180 categories, every other option is saved correctly but not the categories, they remain unchecked.
It does not matter how many you check.

Expected behavior

Posts made via Steempress should have a correctly formatted string of HTML text at their footer highlighting that Steempress was used.

Actual Behavior

The signature inserted by Steempress at the end of the posts is not being rendered correctly.

This post in my wordpress site was submitted to Steem here and as you can see, the end of the post is presented as html instead of pure text.

Technical Analysis

I suspect this may be because the text is not being converted to the correct character encoding prior to being submitted to the blockchain. E.g. The text appears in steem editors as:

Instead of as correctly rendered (normal) HTML.

Featured images are not always suitable to be shown on article. Can you pls. add a disable button ?

I wish me a option to setting Shortening of my post (Shorten post excerpts) or a template for Self formatting e.g Custom Fields and post excerpts

Shortcodes should not be posted into Steemit when it's being used in posts/articles such as [Shortcode something="1"] etc..

When publishing on gutenberg, upon hitting publish, if you don't refresh the editor, the metaboxes won't be updated, so the "publish to steem" checkbox is still there even though the post has the "published" state.

Which means that the "update to steem" checkbox is not present and unless the editor is refreshed, the next updates won't carry over to steem.
