WebLinter

A tool to run a basic set of validation/linting tools on a web project.

This is a tool developed for students to use in web based modules studied at the University of Brighton, such as CI227 (Web Technologies) and CI262 (Mobile Application Development) at the Hastings Campus.

Toolset provided:

  • HTML Validation
  • CSSLint
  • JSHint
  • JSCS
  • JSDoc
  • JSONLint

Tools you may wish to add yourself (or stuff that may be added in time):

  • Minimisation (e.g. Uglify for JavaScript)
  • Unit testing (e.g. Jasmine for JavaScript unit testing)
  • PHP linting
