Doing some research and apparently Sky might have site IDs for certain BBC Radio channels but they don't actually show up

I'm seeing if BT has any EPG assignments.

Describe the issue
Channels that use the current BT TV API have no data returned. This is due to either the deprecation of the API or the invalidation of the application key.

There is a listing for regular STV but for whatever reason there's not a +1 timeshift EPG.

I'm pretty sure it was the same with the Sky EPG on IPTV-org/epg.

I'm using Sparkle TV, a particularly excellent Live TV app for Android TV. With it, I'm using an HDHomeRun Duo as the source.

When I input the EPG.xml link, I'd say it's about 75% correct. I've noticed 3 issues in particular.

1. Some channels (ITV HD, Channel 4 HD, 5 HD, and others), show the guide data and the program thumbnail fine. However there's no channel logo.
2. BBC HD South West shows nothing at all.
3. BBC News and BBC parliament both say ... Programmes no longer available

The channel name "estHitsRadio.uk" appears in the list - both in the channel entries list and in each of the programme entries for that channel.

Expected behavior
I suspect that it should be "GreatestHitsRadio.uk".

Describe the issue
For some programmes there seems to be 2 entries. I've noticed this on channels including BBC ONE HD and 4Music - have not looked much further yet.

An example is that the following entry is repeated

Sometimes the entry and its duplicate are consecutive in the output. But I've also seen a block of duplicates following their originals. Ie. Prog1, Prog2, Prog3, Prog4, Prog1, Prog2, Prog3, Prog4

When I plug the url into the configuration for the Simple IPTV plugin

no EPG information is shown, and an error is generated in the log file (/storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log):

My setup: I am in the UK, running Libreelec 12.0 on a Raspberry Pi model 4.

Chances are, it's on my end (unfortunately I can't take a proper screenshot due to security restrictions as always), but BBC Radio Nan Gàidheal and BBC Essex isn't displaying any EPG listings on my end.

Everything seems to be fine with TVsetup and this repo, so I'm confused.

There's suggestions that it used to be aired for limited times but it seems to be on all the time now, at least here in NG17.

the EPG IDs I've assigned are likely not the ones that IPTV-org uses, but I was unable to find any EPG IDs for them here

unrelated but your GitHub actions output is unreadable for radio, idk why

also, the RT UK EPG has been broken for a while, likely due to Ofcom withdrawing it from being broadcast due to being Russian state media last year

Episodes of a multi-part show have Incorrect season and episode values, also the "New" indicator is not set.

Expected behavior
Episode and season values to be filled in, NEW indicator on new shows.

Additional context
I can see that the Sky EPG API does not return "new" flags or season/episode values.

https://github.com/steventrux/epg/blob/master/uk-sky.com.ini uses an approach of extracting the premiere and episode information from the description string, which while not ideal is more workable than not having any at all. Could this be added? If you don't have the time or inclination would you be likely to accept a pull request if I were to do it?

also, it doesn't look like GitHub actions are working properly on the EPG, some refreshes are being skipped

I'm finding that the EPG is not being filled out by the IPTV Simple Client addon in Kodi, despite the xmltv file being pointed to in the settings.

Expected behavior
The EPG should appear showing the names and details of programs as part of the .

Describe the issue
I don't see the BBC non-HD channels such as BBC ONE Lon in the output.

Expected behavior
I expected all the channels to be listed, even if two channels have the same listings.

Windows 10 PC; Chrome browser, saving output to a text file and examining it using Notepad. Also ingesting the output into Python and processing it for display in a wx GUI.

Is this deliberate (ie. not an issue)? Maybe it can be assumed that the listings for, say, BBC ONE Lon are the same as those for BBC ONE HD? If that's so then please accept my apologies for raising a non-issue.

Well ermm yeah. Self-explanatory.

BBC must be hiring some great people for a show to last that long.

I think my application doesn't trigger security restrictions if I'm watching radio which is good to know.
