Is there any effort to push for an open-source release? A kickstarter project, say?

In the preview, the image is show. But if I press Edit, I'll get an error message "Ungültige Bilddatei /tmp/LZRAWTMP2466561774720295282.ppm" (Invalid image file).

When im edit DNG of Samsung GX-20 colors look bad.
It be different than expected.
On preview in file manager colors miniature of DNG look ok.
After open DNG in editor colors look bad.

Hi, is there any chance of a raw profile for the sony a99 II?
When I open uncompressed raw files from this camera they have a green tint. I am not sure how to get rid of this.
I have used lightzone for my A65 without any specific profile and it works great.

slapp0 is getting XML failures on some F70 EXR images and not others. Failure occurs on trying to save the file.

Would it be possible to have a Raw Tone Curve made for the A99 or does the A77 Raw Tone Curve work well enough even though a different sensor?

When i try to edit a RAW file from my Sony A6000, there 's a kind of purple "milky" layer applied on the picture which remains when i export or save the pictures in JPG or any other format. Is it because there's not a specific RAW profile for this camera?

Yesterday I bought a brand new Canon EOS 77 D
Obviously pictures in RAW are not recognized by LightZone
Could a profile be made for this type of camera?
Or is it possible to create it myself?

Hi there, I heard of LightZone just recently and have read a report of v4.0 being able to open RAW files for the Fujifilm X20. However, when I try to open my RAF files, I get the following error, running on Mac OS 10.6.8:

"Unknown error opening this file:
class java.lang.NullPointerException"

Furthermore, the X20 is not listed among the Fujifilm X-series cameras listed as having profiles. The X20 is the successor of the X10, but has a new kind of sensor built into it that does not rely on Bayer arrays but on the proprietary X-Trans approach, instead. A few other X-series cameras are using this new sensor type, e.g., X100s, X1-Pro.

The new Nikon Coolpix P1000 has been released and it can shoot in RAW!
I hope a LightZone Raw profile can be created for this new Nikon.

Although the Raw support for the Olympus E-5 seems to work fine, an examination of the LightZone log shows that there are over 200 complaints about unrecognized metadata, usually repeated many times. These message are probably harmless, but they're ugly.

Is it possible to get a camera profile for the Nikon D750 in LightZone? Everything looks pink! Or is there a possibility to build it by myself? A tutorial? Thank you, please help!

Could there be a RAW profile made for the Fuji X-T2. I am depending on Light Zone after abandoning Windows and thus leaving Adobe Lightroom. Till, then i will be shooting JPG.

The dcraw version in LightZone 3.9 is version 8.99, from Christmas Day, 2009. Many camera models have been released since then, but LZ is unable to process their Raw files.

LightZone v3.9.2 running on Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Java 1.6.0_24
dcraw v9.11 and latest K-r template

Problem: image colours shown in the edit window are not correct. It's hard to say, but maybe red and blue channels are swapped and there is a strong green tint. The same problem occurred prior to installing the new template. The PEF file can be viewed fine in Preview and the embedded preview in the PEF file is displayed correctly in LZ's browse display.

Can files be attached in these issues?

Although the Pentax K10d is old, there are still people who use it. It would be great if there was a RAW profile for this camera. Thank!

After noticing that the d5100 was not supported on my version of dcraw, i followed the protocol for installing the tone curve template for the camera. lightzone does recognize the template, but, when editing raw files, lightzone creates a very strong green tone throughout the image. the photo does appear normal in the browse mode, however.

running windows 7 64 bit system, latest versions of template and dcraw from this web site. Java 7, Update 21.

Please consider RAW profiles for the Nikon D5300 and D500. Thanks so much for everything you guys have done. Lightzone is amazing !!!!!!

I have just installed LZ 4.0 windows.
The installation worked perfectly, the program will open a Fuji RAF file as a preview but when attempting to edit the file I receive a message saying ---

"unknown error when opening this file --

class java.lang.NullPointerException" ---

The program will open and edit / convert Nikon NEF files satisfactorily.

Any ideas?

I use Lightzone for years and like that it is continued until today :-) Unfortunately I'm not a programmer and therefore have a question. I'd like to have a default camera profile for a Nikon D850. Is it maybe possible to get that? Years ago I had the same for a Nikon 1 J4 where I copied the style of a Nikon 1 J2 which worked for my use. But with the D850 I did not have a "source".

I Would love to see a profile for CanonG-9 or a suggested sub.

I just got a Canon 70d and love using lightzone, but it is very slow now and I would assume it is because there isn't a raw tone curve for it, but then again I am very new to this. Is there a way to get that?
