Main project idea

Design and implementation of backend service exposing REST API to support simple library management.

Gained sills

  • Familiarized myself with Object Oriented Design Principles.
  • Learned the basics of backend programming language (Java).
  • Designed a relational database schema with accompanying SQL queries.
  • Used Spring Boot to expose the REST API from my application.
  • Gained good understanding of code versioning tools, i.e. Git.
