To clone and run this application, you'll need Git and Chocolatey.

# Install make command
$ choco install make

# Clone this repository
$ git clone https://github.com/doraemonidol/cs202-road-crossing-game.git

# Go into the repository
$ cd cs202-road-crossing-game/cs202-road-crossing-game/

# Build the executable
$ make

# Run the game
$ bin/Release/crossing-the-universe.exe

In this project, we have made a theme for the game. Follow this theme, we change the cars and animals into aliens, lasers and ufos 😄 We also turn the player into a spaceship that can shoot aliens. We hope to give the game much more interesting mechanic like an obstacle level, however, we didn't have enough time to make that 😢

• Traffic lights in Freezing beam form to stop the aliens.
• Menu to navigate user.
• Spaceship blow-up animation.

• Pixel art with texture, cut scenes and 8-bit music.
• Ability to shoot aliens and fight boss.
• Much more interesting obstacles and enemies.
• Good UI/UX

• W, A, S, D: Move spaceship.
• Space: Shoot bullets.
• Esc: Pause the game.
