Extension makes Google Docs / Sheets copy/pasting not work at all. (or at least, super wonky)

Having a domain blacklist, as suggested previous, would be a great help.

The settings are as follows, but it does not work.

The shortcut does not function. Autocopy is not disabled. The words are still copied automatically.

But if applied as follows, it works.

Let's take the first word of the subject:

I uncheck this option, but it still copies in input fields.

The Add-on name is "AutocopySelection2Clipboard", but the pop-up notification shows the title of "AutocopSelection2Clipboard" without the "y".

The latest version has a strange bug where it auto highlights the text on google images results page. Do a search on google images. On the results as you scroll down it will highlight any text.

Can anyone confirm?

I'm wondering if at some time you might create the option to only copy web page text, and not from areas such as search fields and other text input places such as posts.

I often like to copy then and replace/paste over another selected item, but as it stands now, if I want to replace some text, I must first erase it without highlighting it.

Maybe a better description is no copy in editable fields.

Version 5 is prompting for new permissions to download file and modify download history, why is that?

Just updated to version 5, but have reverted to 4 as setting the "Unselect after copy" setting breaks Firefox built-in search-next when pressing F3.

Reproduce: Enable "Unselect after copy", go to a page, search for something, press F3 to search for next occurence, nothing happens.

Setting works fine in v4.

Note: I use "find as you type" which might have an effect, I haven't tried disabling this.

This is related to #1 and could work as a workaround if i could disable this add-on for some domains (say for my domain with WordPress). Used to use such feature in older add-on.

First, thank you for your great add-on, extremely useful to me.

I would like to report an issue with https://outlook.live.com
When "CopyProtectionBreak" is selected at options, is impossible to replay emails at outlook.com, the message box freezes.
This issue never existed before, I only can say that if I uncheck "CopyProtectionBreak", the message box unfreezes and works fine at outlook.com.
The problem is that I need to have "CopyProtectionBreak" selected, because I use this option for lot of other websites. And it is very uncomfortable to uncheck it every time I write an email at outlook.com.

I am on Firefox Nightly, latest version 20181205102000 / Windows 10 latest version.

With copy protection enabled, I can't log into this site: https://app.fagura.com/login. The login form and other links on the site don't work.

Also, some links in Facebook don't work (e.g. some notifications) with copy protection break enabled with default settings.

I wasn't expecting Facebook to fall under "rare cases".

just a quick suggestion here. some time I want to replace a some text in the input box and ended up got copied.

may I suggest adding an option to slightly change the copied behavior
when the text is selected, the copy action get triggered only if the delay timer is up and mouse click is pressed down. In other word, if the text is selected but the mouse button is not on click state, don't copied.

With that I can select the text, release my mouse click, think what I want to edit, then enter the content I want to replace the selected text.

my current delay setting is 800ms

Middle mouse paste function has changed with 3.0.1. It now functions exactly the same as about:config middlemouse.paste. Before 3.0.1, if you highlighted text in a text box and press middle click it would replace the highlighted word with the copied text which I liked. Now it doesn't do that anymore it just pastes the word next to the highlighted text.

Also before 3.0.1 I could disable the copy function and still use paste on middle click option. Now if I disable copy function it also disables paste on middle click. I only wanted to use AutocopySelection2keyboard for the middle mouse paste because I'm using another copy text addon and I don't like the middlemouse.paste command. But now I'm forced to use the copy function and paste on middle click is the same as middlemouse.paste (but worse because I can't paste in url or search bar) so it's useless for me.

Can you change paste on middle click to how it worked before?

I have enabled exclusion for my domain and it doesn't copy when i browse my blog, but when i edit a post in WordPress Visual editor it still copies text on selection.

I guess filtering by domain is not working with iframes?

Hi,
Firefox v75.0 x64 on Windows 10 v1903 x64, AutocopySelection2Clipboard v3.4.2.

1. Enable CopyProtectionBreak.
2. Go to https://www.google.com/maps/.
3. Type some letters city name into the search field in the upper left, e.g. Copen.
4. A list of suggestions appears below the search window.
5. Click on any of them, e.g. Copenhagen Denmark.

Expected:
The suggestion that you clicked on is recognized, the suggestion list disappears, the search field is replaced with the suggestion string, e.g. Copenhagen, Denmark and the map view is moved to the chosen location.

Actual:
The suggestion list disappears. The search field is not updated nor is it the map view moved.

Similar with Gmail search, clicking a suggestion you click from the suggestion list in Gmail's search has no effect (except closing the suggestion list).

Disabling the CopyProtectionBreak setting makes the search suggestions work as expected.

Started using this add-on recently. I have only enabled Plain (Selection.ToString) and everything else as off. When i select text in WordPress Edit Post input window it copies the text. Which i don't want. I guess Edit Post is not treated as "Selection in input fields".

Nice add-on! It would be great to have the option to automatically copy the URL at the same time as the text and paste both at once.

Is it possible to prevent the autoscrolling from appearing when pasting with middle click in textboxes?

For example the search box on https://www.tfd.com/

This doesn't happen with middlemouse.paste command.

Would be good to have in the description a quick summary for the usage of new/all permissions:
