stream command

ez self promo on the bot

just do the same thing stage did LULW

Fix the Bio command.

Edit: Deprecated because this referred to V1's bio command, V1 has been deprecated.

DEL list 2.0

  • 1. kick and ban returns error messages x2 when bot is missing permissions. They also don't have role hierarchy checks and checks if user was banned successfully.
  • 2. slap sends 2 messages. 1 message would be enough imo.
  • 3. prefix command can be abused to mention everyone and/or unmentionable roles. Use allowed_mentions to sanitize it.

Create callable commands

Instead of repeating fields and stuff multiple times over and over again for Patreon exclusive features, use "callable commands" (functions i think?) to just use 1 line to get the command

Action Required: Fix Renovate Configuration

There is an error with this repository's Renovate configuration that needs to be fixed. As a precaution, Renovate will stop PRs until it is resolved.

Error type: undefined

bot stats

like server system stats
cpu time
uptime
cpu usage
etc.

  • discord token
  • top.gg token
  • statcord token/key

Giveaways

(the command, not the weekly nitro giveaways with the lucky dogs)

DEL List

  • 1. returns error message x2:
    • kick
    • ban,
    • serverinfo,
    • slap command
  • 2. levelmessages, prefix can be abused to mention everyone. Use allowed_mentions to sanitize it
  • 3. setmuterole should check for role hierarchy.
  • 4. Another suggestion: levelmessages should check if provided values are yes/no (just like you show in your help command) and if level messages are already enabled/disabled.
  • 5. Suggestion: serverinfo should check if bot has permissions and when it doesn't instead of returning an error just pass the fields that require missing permissions
  • 6. I'm not sure if you have level messages on by default, but if you do - make them off by default.

Lack of commenting

I've only looked at a few files, but there seems to be a complete lack of commenting. You should always comment your code if it isn't very simple, especially if you expect other people to understand and contribute to it.

I know that going back and commenting all your code is a daunting task, but it's important. It might just be because I'm a beginner at Python, but I don't really understand your code. Other potential contributors might not, either.

mmatt's response:

If someone else wants to add comments to the code, you are more than welcome to.

At the moment, I feel like my code doesn't need much explanation, that might be selfish of me, but it's just my opinion.

If you need any explanation on anything, just let me know in an issue, and I will be happy to answer you.

Again, If someone else wants to take the task of finishing up commenting the code, then go ahead, I won't stop you (of course).

However, this means that in the future, I might be commenting my new code to save my time on issues like these.

Just wanted full transparency on this issue, that's it, enjoy the bot :)
