Pretty sure it is not possible with the current implementation, but just to be sure need to prepare extra integration tests: A method to call SpawnProtocol is located on node1 but the actor which is a part of SpawnProtocol is situated on node2 or vice-versa.
Actions items:
If it doesn't work - show in which cases it is still possible to use and which it is not possible
As a developer, I want to be sure that new changes pushed to the main branch are well-tested and don't break any previous behaviors. To achieve this, a continuous integration (CI) should be enabled:
Protect the main branch - should not be allowed to commit directly to the branch, only using PRs
Run unit tests on each commit in a PR
Make a rule for PRs to allow push to the main branch ONLY when unit tests are passed
