To fix it, i have seen in class ".gsfi" , disabling the "line-height" it works ok.

The icons that are below the GMail search bar are so dark, they are difficult to see. Is there a way to 'colorize' these icons so they are easier to see?

Some of my emails are shown with "hidden" images. They seem to get a dark overlay as well:

I don't get that in all mails though.
If required, I can forward it to you.

As far as I can see, there is an image overlay of the newspaper on items where it's behind a paywall, and these are shown bigger thus blocking the image behind.

In white/default mode, the colors of links and other texts are never the same.
In dark mode, the clicked link has the same color(white) as the search result, which can be confusing because users don't know if it is a link unless it is hovered.
Please change the clicked link color to other color so that it is also readable in dark mode thanks
(if I use default links option, the clicked link color are too dark in dark mode which makes them unviewable)

Currently news titles are blended /w the background. I have been trying to correct, but unable to so far.

Thank you for creating these styles. I have a vision impairment , and the dark style you created for GMAIL is very helpful. However, I am having problems with some of the light gray or gray fonts against black background. I am not a programmer, but I tried looking at the open source code to change font colors, but I did not have much luck. Can you give me some hints on how to change the font colors. Whites and Yellows are the best for me. Also, icons like the garbage can for deletion are almost impossible for me to see.

I have similar issues with the dark mode for amazon. What you have created is extremely helpful, but if I could change some of the font colors for my unique case, it would be helpful.

The contents of the current cell are difficult to read due to the text being grey on a white background.

Hi, this style looks great but it's visually a little difficult to tell between read/unread emails and the currently selected email (when using the reading pane). I hacked together a higher-contrast setting for these classes but an actual supported update by the maintainers would be awesome!

The search box at the top is still white. when you select/start typing in it it then goes to a dark color. It would be desirable to have this be dark by default.

How do I uninstall dark mode for Gmail on my MacBook Pro? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Your style for google is nice but I want to see the link like in light(default) google, you use the same color when a link is unvisited in light and visited in your theme, its confusing for me.

Hi, you may have noticed Google recently made some changes to the built-in chat areas in the bottom left of the layout. You now can't really read the headings anymore. Also the chat fullscreen and popups still have white backgrounds. Have a look and see if you see what I mean.

This isn't an actual issue, but more of a request:
Could you make your themes into UserCSS and host it on GitHub?

I think that would make it a lot easier for people to install and update. I'd be glad to help.

That's basically it. See attached image for details.

EDIT: I've realized that this behaviour only occurs when you have configured gmail as the handler (chrome://settings/handlers) for mailto links (mailto:[email protected]). On pressed a compose only window is opened and the issue is reproduced.

This stops the rest of the script from processing and attaching event listeners for the download "links" so clicking them does nothing.

I just wanted to report this. Happy to submit a PR, but not sure which CSS to change.

Most of the icons on the top right's colors aren't set correctly by the theme. There's now an overwrite inside the objects themselves in the HTML that require manual editing for each object.

(The homepage button here is only white because I currently selected it, other than that it's gray like the other icons)
(Aka, only the activity / heart button's colored correctly)

This also occurs on posts' comment, share etc. buttons:

And, viewing posts from an account does a weird white flash on opening, and the appearance looks kind of funky.

In regular Gmail, including dark mode, a saved draft shows up red in the conversation list. The Dark Gmail rule for .yP overrides this. Another rule such as the following is required to restore it:

I'm on the latest Firefox 81.0.2/Win10 x64.

I'm opening and pinning this Issue to let people know that I soon will stop supporting the Dark Google by DM theme. Google has been rolling out their own Dark Mode for some time now and more and more users are getting access to it, thus making it pointless to keep maintaining Dark Google by DM.
I wanted to thank everyone who used this theme daily and those who even donated for supporting!

What does this mean?
It means that the style will always still be downloadable but won't be updated anymore, I will be dedicating time to other projects and I'm considering creating some new themes. At the moment these are the one that got suggested and I'm considering to work on: #10 [Google Chats](Suggested on the Discord server)

Comments section during Instagram livestreams is bright white.

Sorry for the low-level question but how do I change the color of the icons? Having them dark-on-dark makes them barely distinct from background but I am not able to find the lines where I can exactly change those.
