Sample code for OPC client and server programming using Delphi and C++Builder. Contents include:

Delphi

Delphi conversions of the OPC custom COM interfaces;
Simple Delphi OPC client samples;
Delphi OPC DA server samples, contributed by their original authors;
A simple XML-DA test client, contributed by Horst-Dieter Kassl, creator of dOPC.

C++Builder

Code samples showing various techniques for OPC client and server programming using C++Builder, some of which rely on commercial OPC products.

Problem with Delphi XE6

1. Windows 7 x64
2. Embarcadero RAD Studio XE6
2. Build "DataAccess20Demo" 
3. DataAccess20Demo /regserver
4. Open it in Matrikon OPC explorer or in KASSL dOPCExplorer

Matrikon OPC explorer doesn't show any groups and tags

KASSL dOPCExplorer shows root node like "$??????" and shows message on click: 
"This location is no longer valid"


If I compile this server in Delphi 6, everything works fine. Maybe some 
problems with unicode?

OPC unable to connect to the machine

1. connected to the cambox of HATRIDGE to AVM2-PC
2. ERROR "OPC unable to connect to the machine"
3.


Trying to figure out what may be causing this ERROR


Currently using IRIS software DELPHI version 01.013.00

sOPC - No client updates

- sOPC does not update the client groups (Delphi7)
- the problem occurs since the ontimer event for FGroupTimer is not executed
- probably the windows message queue is hooked somewhere
- could be fixed by using TJvTimer instead of TTimer
