The camera feature doesnt work on some mobile devices.

Tests
iPhone - Safari ~ not working
iPhone - Chrome ~ not working
iPhone - Firefox ~ not working
Android - Firefox ~ working

If you have any more information about other devices having a similar issue or on how to fix this, please leave a reply below.
For now this is considered an iPhone specific issue.

Als ik vanuit de site direct een foto upload via de camera, is de foto 90 graden gedraaid. Als ik dezelfde foto eerst save en daarna als file upload, wordt hij wel goed geroteerd.

On devices with multiple camera's, the wrong camera is sometimes chosen.
For some phones this means the front camera is chosen instead of the back one.

How can this be solved?
This can be solved by either automatically selecting a camera or by using a camera switcher icon (preferred method)

Looks like things break when an image file cannot be converted/compressed:
