corpustools's Issues

Kven parallel corpus is full of colons

The Kven-Norwegian parallel corpus isn't functional because of colons between the words in the Norwegian sentences. Because of this, it is not possible to use "extended search" with multiple words from Norwegian to Kven. This is also the case for some Kven sentences, but not all.

Ubuntu 22.04 python3-poetry too old

https://packages.ubuntu.com/jammy/python3-poetry is version 1.1.12, which results in:

RuntimeError: The Poetry configuration is invalid:
  - Additional properties are not allowed ('group' was unexpected)

I've disabled building it on 22.04 (Jammy).

In general, pyproject.toml projects are too new for all supported Ubuntu/Debian. There is no support at all on Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal).

Parallelization has changed (for the worse) after move to Git

Earlier, if the parallelization went bad for some sentences, it used to be corrected later in the text. Now, however, it seems that there are no attempts to parallelize after the first one: If there is one error, the rest of the document is also out of sync.

This can be seen by reparallelizing any old file. The old parallelizations have inaccuracies in some sentences but then corrects themselves later in the text. The new ones, on the other hand, are out of sync after an error occurs.

Example text with old and new parallelization:
Old commit (from March): giellalt/corpus-nob@6a4c3f4

New commit (today): giellalt/corpus-nob@8713bd4

korp_mono.py list index out of range

Det kan virke som at noe går galt et sted. I den fila jeg prøver å konvertere med korp_mono.py, ligger det analyser av typen

"<1024x768>"
	"1024x" Err/MissingSpace"768" Num @HNOUN #2->0

Som da gjør at scriptet krasjer med følgende melding (de første tre linjene har jeg skrevet ut slik at jeg skulle finne ut hvordan inputtet så ut.

anders@debian:~/corpus/corpus-fao$ korp_mono --skip-existing --ncpus most analysed/blogs/web_mix.txt.xml

Fix word model file for rmy-rlo, and add language code mapping

The language model file rm-rlo.wm should be renamed to rmy-rlo.wm to follow file naming convention. Currently the file is ignored when creating a Classifier in text_cat.py.

A good number (19) of the language models in the lm/ directory use language codes that are not defined in ISO 639-2. I looked for the codes in the repository and on https://giellalt.github.io/, but haven't been able to find them. Could you document their signification?
