This would either require shipping a flag that just has barnacle exit 0 when the file is correctly rendered, or add in a /bin/true that is statically compiled as well into the scratch image.

The goal is to allow the use of barnacle for running other software after generating a configuration file. Specifically in docker containers.

Build some docker containers that contain just the barnacle binary, so that it may be used as a source to copy the barnacle binary into the docker container of choice.

This requires we build barnacle as a static binary. Preferably for the following platforms:

• armv7
• aarch64
• x86_64
• x86

There is a use case where you would want to include other templates to be able to stack them, for example you may have multiple environments, production, development and staging, and you may want to inherit from a single base configuration.
