We’ve started a community-maintained version of rss2email at https://github.com/rss2email/rss2email.

Your homepage link is a 404, so I gather this repo is not maintained anymore? It would be nice if you could link to us and update your description.

I ran out of diskspace and apparently it stored a broken statefile, which breaks subsequent runs.

So,

• handle the case of broken statefiles better (abort with proper error)
• avoid this from happening (create tmp file first, then move it)
