The "Loading DICOM data" progress bar does not reach 100%

Description

The "Loading DICOM data" progress bar stops before reaching 100% (normally around 98% - 99%) and throws an assertion error.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the Dicompyler
  2. Open Patient file
  3. Select one of the files of the patient tree
  4. Choose Select
  5. Select DICOM tree
  6. Select any file from the "Select a DICOM dataset" dropdown menu
  7. Check the progress bar if it reaches 100%

Expected Results:
The bar should be moving forward.

Actual Results:
The progress bar stops at a certain point and it dose not move forward or increase.

Error displayed
wx._core.wxAssertionError: C++ assertion "pos <= m_rangeMax" failed at /tmp/pip-build-_qk6tw08/wxpython/ext/wxWidgets/src/gtk/gauge.cpp(95) in SetValue(): invalid value in wxGauge::SetValue()

The patch to work around the issue is, this is not a fix only a hack.

The default directory for the anonymized DICOM file

Description

The default directory in the anonymization Window
The default directory for the folder of the anonymized DICOM file is not the proper directory.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the Dicompyler.
  2. Open Patient file.
  3. Select File from the Dicompyler Menu bar.
  4. Select Export.
  5. Select as Anonymized DICOM.
  6. Check the location field that the anonymized file will be saved in.

Expected Results:
The Location field in the anonymize window should show by default the same directory of the original file.

Actual Results:
The location field showing that the Dicompyler directory by default every time the anonymization function used.

Anonymization

The patient's name and ID should by correctly anonymized.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the Dicompyler.
  2. Open Patient file.
  3. Select File from the Dicompyler Menu bar.
  4. Select Export.
  5. Select as Anonymized DICOM.
  6. Choose the location of the anonymized file to be saved at.
  7. Fill the First name and ID to be changed
  8. Press anonymize.
  9. Check if the patient's name and ID are changed.

Expected Results:
The actual patients' IDs to be altered in order to achieve confidentiality.

Actual Results:
After performing the steps and opening the anonymized file; apparently, The Patient's ID is changed, the patient's name did not change.

Performing Physician's Name and Requesting Physician are not anonymized.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the Dicompyler.
  2. Open Patient file.
  3. Select File from the Dicompyler Menu bar.
  4. Select Export.
  5. Select as Anonymized DICOM.
  6. Choose the location of the anonymized file to be saved at.
  7. Fill the First name and ID to be changed.
  8. Make sure to check the checkbox Beside"Remove private Tags).
  9. Press anonymize.
  10. Check if the Performing Physician's Name and Requesting Physician are anonymized.

Expected Results:
The Performing Physician's Name and Requesting Physician should be altered in order to achieve confidentiality.

Actual Results:
After performing the steps and opening the anonymized file, The Performing Physician's Name and Requesting Physician are known.

  3. Select File from the Dicompyler Menu bar.
  4. Select Export.
  5. Select as Anonymized DICOM.
  6. Choose the location of the anonymized file to be saved at.
  7. Fill the First name and ID to be changed.
  8. Make sure to check the checkbox Beside"Remove private Tags).
  9. Press anonymize.
  10. Check if the (Physician(s) of Record), (Issuer of Patient ID) and (Requesting Service ) are anonymized.

Expected Results:
(Physician(s) of Record), (Issuer of Patient ID) and (Requesting Service ) should be altered in order to achieve confidentiality.

Actual Results:
After performing the steps and opening the anonymized file, (Physician(s) of Record), (Issuer of Patient ID) and (Requesting Service ) are identified.
