I don't know. void __fastcall CowSFX(int pnum) smells kinda beefy to me...
(Perhaps I'll add that in the side project :P)

I have looked through the code countless times when I was a kid. There is not a cow level and never was intended for their to be one.
There was an underground passage under a house wit wyrms that you could kill. Another where Pepin took half of your gold for healing. Izual is was supposed to be in it too, Shadowfang (d II sword.) as well.
There a lot of out taken things that made it into diablo II actually.
