Dev server not serving static files

I was testing this app today, and wanted to see the hot module relooad in actoin. Running npm run dev however was not serving the static assets. Changing this line in package.json

  "dev": "webpack-dev-server",

to this

  "dev": "webpack-dev-server --content-base build",

fixes the problem.

It still 404s looking for some file called learn.json; not sure if that's important.

npm install and npm run dev not working

Step to reproduce

  1. Checkout fresh install.
  2. npm i
  3. npm run dev

Results

  • webpack throw error

Workaround

  1. yarn install // To install dependency
  2. npm run build // To create build folder
  3. npm run dev // To start webpack-dev-server

Or

  1. yarn install // To install dependency
  2. npm run start // To create build folder and start http-server

PS : I can see some movement in other branch so I didn't propose fixed PR to prevent conflict. :)

does it really use preact-router?

Hi, I am trying to understand how to use preact-router, so I've checked this project source, but cannot find any mention of preact-router, other than in the dependencies...
