Morpheus testnets

This is the official repository containing all the Desmos testnets' data.

The latest testnet is morpheus-apollo-3

All the data is grouped inside different subfolders named after the testnets themselves.

In each subfolder you will find:

  • a genesis.json file containing the genesis of that testnet
  • a README.md file, containing the details of the testnet

If you want to know how to join a testnet, please read our guide on how to become a Desmos validator.

Also, if you decide to become a validator, you will be able to earn periodic rewards thanks to our Desmos Validator Program.

morpheus's Issues

Add genesis accounts

Currently, genesis transactions are all added without the associated genesis accounts. We should give each delegator a default amount of 10000000udaric (10 Daric).

Reduce unbonding period in the next testnet

Currently the unbonding period is set to the default 21-day. Undelegation and redelegation have to be locked in 21 days. We should reduce this to enable more rapid testing.

Morpheus-8000 data

We need to create the new morpheus-8000 data so that validators can migrate properly.

To do this we need to:

  • Define an export block height
  • Export the state at the decided height
  • Migrate the state to v0.10.0
  • Update all the validators

Prepare all the data for new Morpheus Stargate upgrade

Currently our latest testnet, morpheus-10000, is running on top of Cosmos v0.39.1. However, the next Desmos version will be based on Cosmos v0.40 (codename Stargate). Since the upgrade is very large and changes a lot of things, we need to perform a manual one this time. For this reason, the following things should be done:

  • Export the current data
  • Migrate the data
  • Prepare the appropriate folder
