The parsing in /Source/library/src/main/java/im/delight/android/languages/Language.java seems mandatory but it does not support the third optional argument in the Locale(String language, String country, String variant) constructor and does thus not support all locales (those with variants in the code) or am I wrong?

If for example, the user chooses Arabic/Hebrew etc.

You are ignoring all exceptions in Source/library/src/main/java/im/delight/android/languages/Language.java. This is bad practice, if you don't expect exceptions, just rethrow all exceptions as RuntimeException but don't ignore them.

How can I restrict the list of available languages to only the languages for which I have values-* xml files?

Currently the list contains all languages, but I'd like to give my users the option of switching the app language to only a list of predefined languages that I have translations for.

As of API 25, Resources.updateConfiguration() is deprecated and should thus not be used anymore in Source/library/src/main/java/im/delight/android/languages/Language.java. This example shows what to do in the different APIs.
