It should be possible to import observations in the comast xml format
(compatible with Eye&Telescope and Observation Manager - see
http://sourceforge.net/projects/observation)
It is confusing to have the list of instruments and part to add a new instrument at the same page. They should have a seperate page.

When sorting an observing list 2x on the seen column, to put the objects you've
already seen on top of it, and afterwards using the numbers on top of the list
to scroll through the table, the reverse sorting is not kept (i.e. seen objects
come last)

It would be useful to add some extra information to the objects in your
observation lists:
Comment for each object, so you can add some extra info on why you included
this object in your observing list or where you can enter extra info like 'look
for spiral structure' or 'see printed detail chart' etc
In the generated PDF files, the Dreyer description (as it is now already
online) should also be included (the user should be able to disable/enable
this?) as to make an observing list in the 'David Erzeel style'. The extra info
mentioned above should also be put into the generated PDF documents (if
selected)

geven.
update observations Set date='20080831' where id=25827

The popular objects table can be made more useful if we add 1-2 extra tables
when someone is logged in:
This option can be useful to observers because if they go to the popular
objects, they can immediately see if they have seen a popular object or not
(these must be the best!) and can immediately add them to their observing
list... just an idea...
