python-book-project's Issues

HELLO WORLD

Here you will learn how to create your first ever project in Python. It is not hard to do and it is a very simple task to accomplish, what you have to do is first, set your mind straight and focus on this project. As we all know, Python is the simplest programming language in the world today. it is just like writing in English like A, B, or C so seat back relax lets get on with our new project.

It does not matter the editor you are using for this project as we will all arrive at the same purpose. Be it VScode, Pycharm or even the traditional text editor, we will arrive at the same project output.

Firstly, when printing to a console in Python, we often use the short keyword (print()) keyword or statement, if what we are printing is a string then inside the parenthesis that is accompanied by the (print) statement will be an enclosed double or single quote signs just like this "" or ''' both works the same way. As we ride on with these project, we will understand how to use them more effectively.

Similarly, if we are displaying numbers on the console then we don't need the quotes as it only applies to String datatypes and numbers have to to do with the integer datatype. Datatypes will be a topic for next time. now lets write our first program.

Open your preferred code editor and lets begin.

print("HELLO, WORLD!")

click on ctrl S to save and click on Run to execute your program.
Congratulations, you just create your first project. After running your program, you will at the bottom of your editor something like this;
HELLO, WORLD!
