Users should be able to expend some reputation to submit a location.

A user should get some of visual feedback with every action they take, viz. experience points or badges.

A user should have a page with general activity including public information, an image, stats, and badges.

At all. It's like a body. It never changes even when it's functionality changes.

Show the user's current check-in (persistent somewhere on the UI, and/or on the location page's "check-in" box). It could stay there indefinitely or expire automatically after a few hours.

No review object should be picked up on location reviews.

Any action taken during a user's current "visit" overwrites his current visit. The UI needs to reflect this, because it is confusing otherwise.

When trying to register, an email is sent to the wrong person with the wrong link.

Also, sometimes my review replaces the last review I left, and sometimes it leaves another review, so it's not clear what submitting a review will actually do."

Text box doesn't extend when the name of a place extends past the text bar of a location, and there is no confirmation that a place is submitted.

Right now, the view is reset after navigating away and back. The map center, zoom level, search results, etc all disappear. These should persist. In a sense, everything about search should be "global."

A review should have information about the person who left it including name, picture, and link to profile.

I get kicked off nearly if not every time I use the app. If it is doing that for some security reason, it's too frustrating. Stop it.

Open and closed stars on location page but only closed stars on results.

If you've left a review, it assumes you're still checked in no matter what. Needs to be a bit smarter.

Maybe it should pull up the location, or indicate which location it is. Try a couple strategies and decide what feels good.

Default should either say "new" or show no stars. Test both and see which feels more natural.

Map should consistently geolocate and have a manual geolocation button in case the first geolocate fails (e.g. in an elevator).

If you scroll the map past its bounds into a wrapped version of the map, the longitudinal coordinates exceed +-180 and the query generated is invalid. Should protect against this error.

See redeye on production. 3* in results but 2* on location.
