Write logging to a spreadsheet

Create a seperate logging sheet that every run will dump the result of the logging into the sheet.

possible solution:

  • dump logging to file
  • after completion, read file contents and write to spreadsheet

Frequency per report

There should be a way to indicate how often a report should be run. This could be on the summary report or inside each report

character limit

The presumed character limit for Google Spreadsheets is 50k.
Check when writing to the cells that for strings this limit isn't passed and if so, cut off the string at 50k

Link to Davie delivery

Users want to know what Davie delivery was used to last update the asset. This information is accessible through the history of EM-Infra on a per asset basis.

Automatic git pull

Every day, before running the reports, update from the git repo first

send mails

Users want to receive an email with some basic reporting about the reports.

For every report, add a configurable mailing section, that contains:

  • mailaddress: recipient of the e-mail
  • frequency: parameter to determine when to send emails ('elke dag", "elke week", "elke maand", "elke wijziging"
  • last sent: holds the timestamp for when the mail was last sent

Naming the versions

Every time a report is written, the data is wiped and a new sheet is added. Previous versions can be found through the history (version control) of the sheet. These should be named, specifically to the date on which the report has been run

read timeout

Report0039 gives a read timeout due to the size of the data in the spreadsheet

Include the number of total assets

Users want to see what % of assets is not compliant and thus a number for the total amount of assets affected by the rule should be added
