Functional Programming

This is my ReadME. It contains the case I'm working on with all the research and resources I've used. Enjoy!

Functional Programming is part of the Tech Treck of CMD Amsterdam 2020. It's a 6-week cycle with focus on visualising data with code. FP is given the first 2 weeks of the total course. Install

Within 3 steps you can use my project and dive into the codelines.

  1. Clone this repository to your local files
git clone https://github.com/davidvanr21/functional-programming.git
  1. Then $ cd into the project folder.
npm install
  1. Now run the project!
npm run dev

is minimal, you could look for examples/boilerplates.
Maybe rewatch the presentation from Danny.

Wiki
The Debrief link in the sidebar doesn't work.
Can't give feedback on the research questions.
You probably have them in notion, try to find a something that exports notion automatically to you the wiki 😝

Feedback

I would recommend getting started fast with working with the parking data and setting up research questions so you can search the datasets more efficiently for the information you need.

Research questions

Think about interesting topics to write an article about, where can I park the cheapest, what kind of parking spots are where (
disabled parking space and spots to charge electric cars) and so on...

Add one or more research question to the readme

  • What data do you need and from which datasets
  • Which assumptions do you have by the research question

Other things to put in your readme:

  • Some more info about the project, what can I expect in the repo?
  • How to install and use the project
