Remember to keep in mind the overall needs that the Personas project as a whole will address:
Create a sample Persona profile that can be used to talk about the program to potential collaborators or at meetings.
Sara has created a sample profile using a proposed Persona Element Template. See: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rBqkHNqFO0nZyZdCgP3I3F_zf4Pwap7P/view?usp=sharing

The Google doc for logging sample use cases is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iuzczw8lDQmtUlwJz_tfVGtP4XNwbPpLyCMAhbwuJLU/edit?usp=sharing
Remember to keep in mind the overall needs that the Personas project as a whole will address:
Data
Functionality and workflows; UX
Professional development/Training (job training, leadership training, mentorship training, etc.)
Access to resources
Team science (and credit/attribution for same)
Also consider what types of data, software, expertise, having real examples very helpful!
For the final list of CTS roles that serves as the first batch of Personas, engage in an empathy exercise similar to that recommended in this article: https://www.givegoodux.com/creating-better-user-personas-tips-templates/ in order to understand and supplement the emotional background of the Persona. This information will be added to and enhance information gleaned from interviews.

As per convo w @kristiholmes, it would be terrific if there were computable attributes for each persona. For example, the use/creation of data, software or tools, and expertise. Examples obtained during the interviews are a great start, and may also be nice visual guides as well.
It took me some time before I was able to find the personas [1]. Given that it's a simple list with DOIs, perhaps the best place for the final output work is in your README where it would be front and center. This is a great resource. Thanks.

what is overlap (confirmation), what is new? It would be good to get a better understanding of our work in the context of this persona effort. Thanks!
Create and present a webinar on how to use the Personas that can be distributed among the CTSAs and project partners
Analyze the text of job descriptions in CTS to programmatically find job families and similar duties. This will allow the Personas team to choose representatives roles for the first batch of Persona 1-pagers from our growing list of roles (see Issue 7).
Where the personas documents are located is not clear at present. Are the personas intended to be kept current by the community? Can the library of personas be extended by the community? If so we will need better exposure and guidance on how to contribute.
More information re: role / competencies for this profession can be found here: https://scdm.org/
To enable live citation as we create running documents of the Personas' job duties and the Persona 1-pager documents, create EndNote libraries from General Workforce Resources identical GitHub and Google Drive folders, Background and Reference identical b/t Google and GitHub, except GitHub folder has a Manual Reference sheet for websites, NU Job Family Descriptions and to-be-created Google folder for additional job description resources.
The 12 roles to be profiled in the CTS workforce (not including the patient role) have now been selected. If you or anyone you know who is working in one of these roles at a CTSA would be interested in participating in interviews, we would love to hear from you! Contact us through GitHub, Slack (CD2H Workspace, #Personas), or at sara.gonzales2(a)northwestern.edu for more information.
CHOP to share interview questions from previous Personas work. All project participants to provide additional questions from the Personas literature to this Google folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/171DqzCClw7Bn_cM4XQ_lsJnri9FkjALh?usp=sharing
as per convo w @kristiholmes, it would be terrific to have each persona have a living documentation space where community members can contribute attributes to them or make suggestions. Also would be good for folks to be able to add new personas.

I think you can reuse the information from the guidebook here, perhaps add a new section at the bottom like "meet the team" or something.
Cull job duties from the literature and list them in running documents, one per role, here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yFeB9HNpXO0yEiQeNmOGEqzgSFql963S?usp=sharing Include citation information to properly credit source.
Gather job descriptions and/or CTS literature for fleshing out the roles identified in Issue 1. Post job descriptions to GitHub or to this Google Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B3jw8CuMSI7GY_SK0utiO71k8TvKzWEbqTk7batOKVY/edit?usp=sharing
Group CTS roles according to job families to allow a quick assessment of where the roles are falling. If we can ensure all families are represented, we can choose a select amount of roles for our batch of Personas.
This team could leverage User Journeys. See Link: https://martinfowler.com/articles/lean-inception/show-user-journeys.html as a way to collect information from different personas in CTSA's then create a library of these Journeys for analysis and to determine items or projects of high-value.
Review/add to the Persona profile templates in the Background and Reference folder and generate a list of preferred elements of a profile.
Evaluation of the survey response (launched 10/11/2019) and other feedback mechanisms.
According to RPPR this is Due Dec 24
Gather and compile CTS job titles from project member institutions and other resources.
