auth-htmx's Introduction

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹, I'm Marc!

I'm a DevOps software engineer. I follow DevOps practices and develop all kinds of software! I also do mobile development with Android Kotlin, and sometimes a bit of game development.

My technical blog: blog.mnguyen.fr (Look at how fast it is! It's running on a Raspberry Pi with only a few MB or RAM!).

๐Ÿ”ง My daily tools

These are the tools I use every day, for prototyping or hobby:

Kubernetes Podman VSCodium Gentoo Linux Go-Logo_Blue img Svelte_Logo

I also use other programming languages and tools... but this isn't a CV.

auth-htmx's Issues

passkeys

I agree that doing your own auth and auth is nuts.

the code has 2 OIDC based providers currently , and I am contemplating adding Passkeys.

I changed all third parties services I use over to passkeys.
I tried out some basic golang code and it works great on all mobiles and desktops except Window arm.

there is some golang code I can dig out if your interested.

Oidc

zitadel/zitadel-go#236

I suggested your repo as a basis / example.

Maybe you also interested in a generic oidc / oath system based on htmx.

Zitadel also supports passkeys and other fancy stuff

make usage

I like your make file approach...

For me it's not automagically installing and go tools though... I think I am missing something :)

For example the cow tool...

make watch
gow -e=go,mod,html,tmpl,env,local run ./main.go
make: gow: No such file or directory
make: *** [Makefile:36: watch] Error 127

using gnu make on Darwin btw:

which make
/opt/homebrew/opt/make/libexec/gnubin/make
