tiny-gates's Introduction

Tiny-Gates

Tiny Gates is an add-on for Tiny Redstone that adds tiny redstone gates that you can put on panels to form tiny integrated circuits.

This mod adds the following tiny gates for use on redstone panels:

Tiny AND Gate

Outputs to front when a signal is received to both left AND right side.

Tiny OR Gate

Outputs to front when a signal is received to either left OR right side.

Tiny XOR Gate

Outputs to front when the input signals do not match, similar to a 3-way light switch.

Tiny NOT Gate

Outputs to front when there is no signal to the back. Similar to redstone torch but to single direction with no delay.

Tiny RS Latch

Outputs to front when signal on left (Set signal) is pulsed. Remains on until signal on right (Reset signal) is pulsed.

Tiny T Flip Flop

Output to front toggles on pulse to back.

Tiny Counter

Counts pulses received to back input (up to 15). Displays number and outputs that signal strength to front. Also, can act as a potentiometer. Input to left locks number. Input to right resets counter.

Tiny Clock

Outputs redstone pulses to front at a set interval. Right click for GUI to set interval. Disable with redstone signal to back.

Tiny Edge Detector

Outputs redstone pulse at start (rising edge) or stop (falling edge) of redstone signal to back input. Right click to toggle edge to detect (rising or falling).

tiny-gates's Issues

[Feature Request] add resettable timer

Can you add a timer like the clock but make it in a way that it resets on redstone pulse, not just to stop it. And if possible add a tick length confing options in a way that we can extend the ticks above 100ticks for both off them.

Block Sized Gates

Full block versions of all the tiny gates.

We can still call them "tiny", because a one block gate is still much smaller than a vanilla gate. 🤓

Interact with counter

I don't think this is a thing but it would be cool for a way to manually set the counter to a number, like using an empty hand or a ui.

Wireless?

Hello I love your tiny blocks mod, and this adds so much to the tiny blocks which makes it amazing! I posted this on the tiny blocks mod aswell. But I realized it would make more sense to be added to the tiny gates mod. Would it be possible to add a wireless signal to this mod? I was thinking of using this to make a circuit that can detect when it’s dark out and turn all your lights on and once it’s day turn your lights off. So using tiny blocks id make the circuit, and add the output signal to a wireless…whatever you decide to make it, and it sends the output signal to all your lights(red stone ramps) in your house. Thank you, love the mod(s) have a nice day!
