An observation should have an optional kind/tag (fixed list) like:

• double star
• planetary
• nebula
• lunar
• solar
• ...

It would be nice to see all uploaded photos as a gallery

Only possible to delete, if not used for any sessions

Register variable stars and their measured magnitude, and posibility to make lightcurves and phase plots.

So M42 has the alternate name "Orion nebula", and potentially others as well

Would be nice to add a list of favourite objects and/or "to be watched" list to follow progress

A problematic scenario are eye pieces with similar types - better to use IDs

An optional general note on the session, rather than only on individual observations. For example: "During this session, I tested different eyepieces on Jupiter"

Some objects belong in a bigger structure, like the stars of Orion's belt.

It should be possible from the /session/<session_id> page. The easy solution is just to make a link to /observation/new/session/<session_id>

Extract monthly/yearly observing reports with stats, but try with HTMX to learn something new

It should also be possible to delete equipment, if it is not used for any observations

For focal length of 750mm and eyepiece with 40mm it is calculated to be 125X

Not talking about a smartphone attached to the eye piece.

The camera should be inserted instead of the eye piece. A camera has some characteristics, like:

• Manufacture
• Model
• Megapixel
• Other?

Right now it's only possible to make a new observation using a telescope. Database should support the use of binocular or naked eye too already

Finding charts could be super helpful for looking up new objects for the first time

In session table, the fov is shown with too many decimals. No more than 1 should be necessary

Like the visibility plot, but instead of restricting to one date, use midnight for every day of the year.

It would be nice to include an image (images?) to an observation. However, som photos are a composite of many observations, so maybe there is also a need to store images unrelated to an observation, but rather a link to an object

Both allow it, and see it plays when showed

• Solar (white) filter can be added with other filters, since they go in front of the telescope (#21)
• Barlows should change the magnification (#22)
