Hi! I have some ideas that I'd like to try here, but I would like to discuss them first since it would require an extra server. I think the best way to go about this is to have a server check all the subreddits over and over, and use a websocket to alert all connected users when one goes offline, this way you can watch them all go dark in realtime (or as close to realtime as we can get) instead of having to refresh the page, and it would also make loading the page almost instant since the data would already be loaded serverside, and just needs to be sent to the new user.

Could probably get it working in a day or two, but would have to get going ASAP to hit the immovable deadline of June 12th.
