cypress-migrator's Issues

element(by.repeater()) doens't migrate correctly

When migrating something like element(by.repeater('cat in pets')), the result is by.repeater('cat in pets').

I'd expect a result like cy.get('[ng-repeat="cat in pets"]').

Also, in the Here are the Cypress commands that were found in the migrated code. section, it shows a cy.repeater() command, which when clicked leads to a 404 page since this is not a valid Cypress command.

Suggestion for the element(by.cssContainingText())

When migrating something like element(by.cssContainingText('.pet', 'Dog')), it generates the following cy.get('.pet').contains('Dog')

What about migrating it as cy.contains('.pet', 'Dog')?

I usually use cy.contains() the way I'm suggesting because Cypress only retries the last command.
