Bionic changes & symbols to &amp around all website (tested with Twitter, Google Docs, Google, GH)

I noticed that Bionify moves some text around. I attached 2 gifs. You can see that on GitHub it moves some un-highlighted text a few pixels up, and on Startpage it moves the website titles quite far to the side.

Running on Vivaldi (latest version: 6.2.3105.47)

fastread is published under the GPL v3, but this repo doesn't include a LICENSE file or reference. Am I missing something, or is this by mistake?

At the moment have to toggle "Enable Auto Apply" on every browser restart.

This isn't a bug, but I just want to inform y'all that the wonderful® folks at Bionic Reading® have decided to crack down on any open source projects that involves Bionic Reading®. It is advised to remove all mentioning of Bionic Reading® for now to avoid legal repercussions.

Context

I love the concept of this tool and i personally use it but so far i have noticed some bugs or which i would love to fix, It takes too much time to open up i use it on a the latest version of chrome browser and also i have not been able to use it on a pdf.

Repro:

1. Go to https://newsletter.pragmaticengineer.com/p/dead-code-getting-untangled-and-coupling.
2. In the browser, click on the plugin's icon, and then click "Toggle Bionify". Text is bionified, as expected.
3. Click on the first link inside the blog post body: "my review of the book".

Expected:
Browser opens the link.

Actual:
Some segments of the article are duplicated. See screenshot.

Hi, thank you for this great extension.

I am wondering why it does not work when I open PDFs using chrome. Is it some kind of limitation put in place by chromium?

Currently we need to click on the extension and then again on 'Toggle Bionify' for each page.
Can we have a shortcut key to toggle bionify on/off for a web page?
Alt+B is what jiffyreader uses, but any key would be great.
