Modern Operating Systems by Andrew S. Tanenbaum link seems to be broken.

Might be a good idea to categorize the books. The list is getting bigger and no one wants to read the title of each and every book.

Right now I have learn basic C programming but I am stuck with what are the things that needed in beginning for C architecture to learn.
Like right now I have learn about Basic C programming from the C programming language by kernighan and Ritchie, then I bought data structure and algorithm analysis in C by Mark Allen Weiss,with 'dicreate mathematics and its application with combinatorics and graph theory but Kenneth h Rosen' to learn in depth but I am in doubt whether is it correct sequence to learn or can u help me out in suggesting the correct sequence to learn the whole basic C architecture with books or internet , whatever is possible thank you.

Since the other C++ books by Scott Meyers are mentioned, I feel the latest revision of his book should be added as well.

The current link to Test-Driven Development: By Example by Kent Beck (free PDF) seems to be broken.

This is one of my personal favorite books. It covers more of the social aspects of programming on teams in addition to technical details. I wish I had read it earlier in my career.
