I would โค๏ธ to see something similar to BTTV or FrankerFaceZ for mixer.com ๐ (this would also be a great addition, I guess, for everyone without being partnered and ofc you could monetize it a bit like the named extensions)
The Theater Mode button is supposed to appear next to the fullscreen button in the video toolbar, but this is no longer the case. It seems to have disappeared for some reason. It seems to sometimes show up, but most of the time it won't
Add in a quickly accessible list of channels you follow who are online. This could be an icon on the site itself that you click to get a dropdown, or a list in the chrome extension menu.
Going to add all sorts of settings for this one to make it so people can use it however they wish (only turn it on for certain streamers, whitelist or blacklist users, only do it for x permission groups ie pro/sub/mod/streamer, provide a button to hide the inline picture if desired, etc).
Favorite button does not work correctly it seems. Does not add favorite streamer to favorites list and also is generally a non-functioning button. Green on hover-over works but otherwise doesn't stay green upon being clicked, etc.
Right now the CSS for alternate bg color simply applies a bg color to every other div in the chat container. However, mixer throws timestamps in there as well which causes styling issues.
Account for timestamps when using alternate bg colors.
So I ran into an issue (And FierySama did as well) with the website that texts you when a streamer goes live. I usually have my computer on and my chrome web browser open as well, and thought MixrElixr being able to push notifications would be nice. Fiery also mentioned that Mixer can push its own notifications but I've found them to be unreliable as to when a streamer goes live, so I thought maybe you guys could create a more reliable notification push.
I would not look down on a text message option as well if that was an option too.
Right now the online friends list pulls one page with 250 friends on it. This will work for 99% of people, but technically someone could have more than 250 friends online at once.
To get an accurate count we need to be able to loop those functions until we get an empty page of friends. This would lets us keep the online count accurate, lazy load in streams, etc...
On the chat embed popout, if you have the alternate bg enabled... the timestamp field in chat behaves differently than it does when you're using regular chat. It's not positioned the same. So either it has different classes or styles, or the css we're trying to apply isn't working there.
So I have encountered an issue with the timestamp feature. It seems whenever the standard Mixer timestamp is generated and put into chat, the ones made by the plugin disappear for the 3rd previous section (bottom 2 still have them, ones above lose them).
Having this issue on plugin version 1.2, chrome version 62.0.3202.75 on Mac OS.
(Sorry for the title change, hit enter by mistake.)
I think it would be advantageous to have per streamer settings. You'd have your default/global settings, but then maybe for one streamer, you feel comfortable allowing in line pictures, or you dont want it to auto close interactive for certain streamers but you do by default for others. etc.
I wonder if it would be possible to being able to add Custom actions/options to the menu that appears wnhe you click on someone on chat:
Per example, I want to add an option to say something tagging that user so I just click on that option and it pastes on chat something like: $TARGET please, be nice and behave on chat
or whatever.
The homepage changes URLs when you scroll down past the featured streams and into the browse area. This causes the scripts in the extension to fire again because it thinks a new page is loading.
The way that "remove featured streams" works is that it shows or hides the featured streams and then scrolls the window slightly in order to redraw the left navigation. We need to figure out a way to do this without scrolling or else you cant use the homepage with featured streams activated.
It appears that when MixrElixr is enabled in Chrome, the Language options on the Mixer.com page stop working. You can click on the Language options to choose a different language, but the page doesn't refresh and does not change the Mixer language. Screenshot below simply shows the Language area on the page I'm talking about. I've currently got MixrElixr disabled so that the Languages work properly.
When hovering the Costream icon on the extension popup, it just says "Costream" and it would be helpful and nice if that listed the participants of that costream, something like this but better looking.
So mixer released a new site for pro users and now this tool doesnt work for the options and stuff as it doesnt think we are on a mixer page or something like that (from what I saw in the chrome console)
Similar to how a lot of extensions/plugins work, it'd be nice if two things could be done to increase user awareness:
Inline changelog: essentially a changelog that would either open a new tab or just popup (once) on Mixer displaying what you've changed. The single time popup would be simple as you could just set a cookie and unset it when a new version is installed (if possible, I'm not too familiar with extension development)
Settings Cog: Somewhere on Mixer, it'd be nice to include a cog icon (maybe near XP/sparks?) to access any settings for MixrElixr. I can write up some mockups if you'd like to see some implementation ideas I've had.
Make "Favorite" Button Match New Follow/Following Button: Mixer recently updated the following button, in my opinion it'd be nice to see the "Favorite" button expanded to match the design (mainly because I'm a stickler for things looking like they "fit" ;))
Gamewisp has sub emotes. If you subscribe to certain tiers for a user you can use these emotes.
Had requests to put this into Elixr, but I'm not sure exactly how the API works or anything. For example, not sure how it would match up a mixir username to a gamewisp username to determine if they should be able to use the emote.
If you visit a streamer who's a favorite and then use Mixers notification center (the bell at the top) to navigate to another streamer who is also a favorite, two favorite buttons appear.
I am using OBS remote to control stream from second PC. When I do this I have iframes set for the video and the chat separately and the plugin doesn't effect these can this be implemented?
Not sure if possible, but I want to suggest that there is an option to disable stream video controls when you move your mouse cursor over the video. By default if you hover over it, the controls like pause, volume and screen size popup, along with an annoying grayish bar. Would it be possible to change this so you would have to actually click on the stream video somewhere for the controls to popup?
