Emulator code

The emulator also has an arduino code?
I can't find it in the description.
How to connect the emulator?

Can't get it to work

Hello,

thank you for sharing this repo. I was very happy to find a way to integrate my heatpump with the home assistant :)

I tried to integrate my LG Therma V R32 monobloc heat pump but unfortunately I cannot get it to work. From the photo it is not completely clear to see which pins are used for the serial communication, but I assume based on the code (serial.swap() which I uncommented) that D7 and D8 are used?

I get CH03 error (communication error) on the remote few minutes after I apply power to the D1 mini. I also tried connecting them to D5 and D6 and use SoftwareSerial but I just get few random bytes on serial after power on, then silence. Are there any additional pin configurations or some other details that are left out in the last published version? I am not familiar with the ESP programming and circuits so it is completely possible that I missed something.

Thank you,
Miha

Request for clarification / documentation

First of all, thanks for this awesome project.

Since I'm debating whether to purchase an AWHP like this, I'd like to ask for some clarification:

  • What's ONEWIRE / SDMETER / PENKTH000?
  • I'm a bit uncertain about what can be read and controlled and what not, and the other issues have only deepened my confusion. Can the power consumption be set? Can the flow temperature be set?
  • From what I understand, the setup is currently just for WiFi? I'd prefer cable based ethernet, but I guess that should be doable.

I'm very comfortable with helping to extend and possibly also clean up this project a bit from a software development point of view. Alas I am hopelessly untalented when it comes to electronics, so might need help there ;-)
