I assume you are using the .exe file from the .app bundle right ?
And that you are executing it with Mono from an xterm terminal under X11 ?

You haven't moved the assembly away from the .dll files and icons ? that might 
also
give problem, though I would expect a bigger error message... It seams like the
assembly you have is damaged... 
Where have you obtained the assembly from?

A new release of TheLastRipper is out. Among other improvements it now features 
a
Cocoa interface for Mac, meaning it doesn't use X11 anymore and have native 
look and
feel.
