emontx3-continuous's Issues

Would this firmware run on the Arduino due?

Specifically, is this part possible on the Due:
Inputs are sampled continuously using the interrupt-driven Atmel free-running mode

I am running the Arduino Due in 12bit mode instead of 10bit using: analogReadResolution(ADC_BITS);

On my Arduino Due I use a w5500 ethernet module, and can handle rewriting that part. I just was not sure if its possible to continuously sample on the Arduino Due.

Software-selectable way to disable channels

For hardware that doesn't have a pull-down resistor on inactive channels (i.e. non-emonTx3), the firmware will detect floating channels as active.

Add software capability to disable channels.

Max 19230 samples/second data sent over MQTT

The microcontroller can be programmed to report continuous samples at high data rate

I was interested in using this for a NILM application and was wondering if the max sample rate data would be capable of being sent over MQTT and how I would go about configuring this?

Would the derived values of RMS current, active reactive power etc also be capable of being calculated and sent at equivalent rates?

Much appreciated that you released this!
