This is a template repository for the CPS Project Builder. It provides a complete template for new TYPO3 CMS projects, including a ready-to-use DDEV configuration and basic configuration for deployment with Deployer.

🔥 Getting started

Create a new project:

composer create-project cpsit/project-builder

[FEATURE] Add license option to steps

Is your feature request related to a problem?

The current version defaults to GPL 2.0 which is common and should be kept as the default license. However, it would come in handy if users where to be able to select GPL 3.0, too. In that case the corresponding LICENSE file should be generated and the composer.json should be updated accordingly.

Describe the solution you'd like

This all will be possible with the target file support that will be introduced with CPS-IT/project-builder#54. This PR anticipates the release incorporating that new feature.

[DOCS] How to add a new template

Is your feature request related to a problem?

We're currently not explaining how to customize this project-template. I reckon this makes it a bit more difficult to add new stuff when you're doing it the first time.

A documentation seems necessary to guide one through the steps of adding customs templates.

[FEATURE] Use DDEV's .ddev/.env feature instead of setting TYPO3_CONTEXT within DDEV config.yaml

It's technically not really needed. But I think it makes sense if someone uses .env very often in projects.

[FEATURE] Support for TYPO3 v12

Is your feature request related to a problem?

We should add support for TYPO3 v12 and PHP 8.2.

The following criteria must be addressed:

Add TYPO3 ^12.2 as requirement
Add support for PHP 8.2 (added in #17)
Update TYPO3 console to v8 (https://github.com/TYPO3-Console/TYPO3-Console/releases/tag/v8.0.0)

[FEATURE] Review installed TYPO3 extensions

Feedback we received suggests that we should review the installed system extensions since the scheduler and other frequently used extensions are missing.

Describe the solution you'd like

Ideally, we have the user select system extensions that might be useful (such as typo3/cms-scheduler) and remove others that are a bit less frequently used from the default installation in this template (such as typo3/cms-felogin).
