Replace

countlyCommon.READ_API_URL = "http://localhost:3001/o";

with

var adr = window.location.href;
var arradr = adr.split("/");
countlyCommon.READ_API_URL = arradr[0]+"//"+arradr[2]+":3001/o";

countlyCommon.READ_API_URL is overridden in countly.config.js that is created when you run the installation script.

http://localhost/o will be removed in the new version anyways and below is the upcoming implementation;

countlyCommon.API_URL = "";
countlyCommon.API_PARTS = {
    data: {
        "w": countlyCommon.API_URL + "/i",
        "r": countlyCommon.API_URL + "/o"
    },
    apps: {
        "w": countlyCommon.API_URL + "/i/apps",
        "r": countlyCommon.API_URL + "/o/apps"
    },
    users: {
        "w": countlyCommon.API_URL + "/i/users",
        "r": countlyCommon.API_URL + "/o/users"
    }
};

I did run the installation script but there was no countly.config.js created.
Now I can't get it work on my local ubuntu,

I can get into login page, then created the app, and then can do nothing.
I refresh the page, and then all I can do is watching an infinity circling load.

I checked from console, I found that it calls to localhost, i corrected it to the right host.
but it still not working anyway.

If you have some idea, please help me otherwise I can only wait for new update.
Thank you.

Probably your installation did not finished properly. Is there any other error in your browser console? Also can you check the log files under countly/log to see whether they contain any error.
