Thanks for a couple of very useful packages!
I'm hitting the problem in associate_countries_and_languages
which @sklirg fixed about a year ago. Could you please push an updated version to PyPI? I'd rather install from there than from GitHub.
Would it be possible to limit the set of languages to a pre-defined set you set in settings?
RuntimeError: Model class countries_plus.models.Country doesn't declare an explicit app_label and isn't in an application in INSTALLED_APPS.
Is there a possibility that someone could do a merge and PYPI dist of PR: #17 to provide support for Django 4?
Is there something in the source code that prevents adding support for Django 5.x?
From the README it does not look like django-countries-plus is a requirement,
but in the code it is:
File "…/pyenv/project/lib/python2.7/site-packages/languages_plus/models.py", line 8, in <module>
from countries_plus.models import Country
ImportError: No module named countries_plus.models
For example the United States has the languages u'en-US,es-US,haw,fr'
Currently associate_countries_and_languages only adds "french". This is because there is a line missing from the culture code processing section of that function that would add the language in addition to the culture code.
Sidenote: haw, the Hawaiian Language (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawaiian_language) is missing from Languages.
This is mostly intended as sort of a placeholder/notification to others:
I'm working on fixing the Django 2.0 incompatibility issues. But it will still require some attention from @cordery to get it merged and pushed to PyPI, and I already have another unmerged PR open since October 2016. I've sent him an e-mail asking how to help move the project forward.
Is there a way to get the native name of a cultural code? We currently have a natural name for a language, but how can I have the natural name of e.g. 'pt-BR'?
