Calendar Program

This repository contains two Python files for a calendar program, calendar.py, and its minimized version, calendar_min.py. The code serves as a solution to the infamous calendar program assignment at the end of the COSC-110: Intro to Programming class at Samford University.

Files Description

calendar.py

This file contains the full version of the calendar program with detailed documentation and descriptive code to provide a clear understanding of the logic.

calendar_min.py

A minimal version of the calendar program, with optimized code aiming to achieve the shortest solution possible without losing functionality.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.x

Installation

Clone the repository to your local machine:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/calendar.git

Change the directory to the repository:

cd calendar

Run the desired version of the calendar program:

For the detailed version:

python calendar.py

For the minimal version:

python calendar_min.py

Usage

The calendar program is a CLI application that displays a calendar based on user input. Follow the on-screen prompts to view the calendar for a specific year.
