Oops, that is something I didn't consider because on the cluster I designed this on (parasol) it doesn't control job disk usage. I will add the --defaultDisk flag, default it to 8G, and check for places where a job may request more.

Thanks, it seems to be working fine now (I see much fewer error messages);

On a related note, is there a reason being the current way defaultMemory is specified? I tried to modify the default value using --defaultMemory=12G, which returned an error. Diving into the code, I found the explanation (an integer is expected). Would it make a difference to replace
defaultMemory = luigi.IntParameter(default=8 * 1024 ** 3, significant=False)
by
defaultMemory = luigi.Parameter(default='8G', significant=False)
?
Toil interprets correctly when mem or disk space are specified this way. Also it would make parametrization more homogenous. What do you think?
