curseforge-userscripts's Issues

Add cursemaven maven coordinate to file details

https://www.cursemaven.com/ is a service for depending on Curseforge mods you might be familiar with. However, getting the maven file coordinate is a little bit annoying. Not hard, the project ID is listed in the sidebar and the file ID is in the URL, but a bit too much copypasting, especially when you need more than one mod. Sounds perfect for a simple QoL tweak to add!

Social/Forums dropdowns don't work with the script

If the script is enabled, the new social dropdown (with links to discord/twitter/etc) and forums dropdown (authors/minecraft/bukkit forums links) do not show when hovered over.

This is how it works without the script:

(yes they compacted these a bit now)

Feature Suggestion: Add mods to categorized "lists" for later reference

  • Ideal would be multiple custom lists, each list with a custom name, e.g. "Good fabric optimisation mods" or "Promising mods that aren't polished enough yet", and the same mod can appear in multiple lists
  • Persist it in IndexedDB / LocalStorage
  • Import from / Export to Github Gist or Pastebin

Redirect Old Links not working anymore because API disabled

So the Redirect Old Links script is not working any more, it does nothing and gives an uncaught exception: Object error if you check the browser console. I suspect this is because the used API, https://addons-ecs.forgesvc.net/api/v2/addon/, is disabled or otherwise not working any more.

A possible fix would be using https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/ + projectID instead, as this option also allows users to get a mod page by ID, and then redirecting to the new curseforge website if required, as it currently redirects to the legacy website.

Feature Suggestion: Relations Tab

Could we get an addition that when going to the relations tab it auto sorts to Dependents sub-sorted by Required Dependency such as the image below. It will make finding compatible and dependent mods easier.

Suggestion: Make mod version filter selection saveable, and preferably also filter all versions of a mod that don't fit that filter (e.g. only show 1.12.2 mod builds on the page)

Dunno how feasible it is to do something like that, but right now it would really help as several of my favorite mods are still stuck on 1.12.2 and likely won't update until at least 1.18 comes out, so being able to effectively filter out any files not fitting that ultranarrow window of 1.12.2 and actually having my browser REMEMBER I set it that way would be very nice.

Sort "related projects" under file description

Mostly for modpacks, few mods have enough to make it worthwhile. It is pretty hard to skim if you are looking for something specific, because the order is practically random.

Example

Sorting should be by project name - I guess a dropdown menu to sort by author name could be useful, but it's kinda pointless most of the time.

Can't open Curseforge

Whenever I try to go onto Curseforge while having this script enabled, the Captcha fails. Disabling this script, then doing the captcha and then enabling it again works.
