With the decorator module it is possible to build functions with custom signatures. One could add, for example, a default value for a parameter or remove an argument from an argument list.

This should be explained in the README at the very least. Possibly the API should be improved to simplify this task. One should be able to pass a Signature object to the wraps function.

I have no immediate ideas how to improve it.
